SMP silicon-modified polyester color-coated board is a metal-baked paint color-coated board that uses SMP silicon-modified resin paint on a metal plate and then bakes at high temperature. The paint film has good hardness, wear resistance and heat resistance, and has good external durability and non-chalking. The service life is 10-12 years, but the gloss retention and flexibility are limited.

Due to good wear resistance and scratch resistance, SMP silicon modified polyester color-coated sheet is mainly used in mining, steel mills and other fields. Because the adhesion and processing performance of silicon modified polyester are not ideal, it is not suitable for processing occasions where multiple moldings are formed.

Since polyester contains active group-OH/-COOH, it is easy to react with other polymer compounds, and the light resistance and chalking resistance of polyester are improved after improvement. After the improved polyester is coated on the steel plate, the hardness, wear resistance and heat resistance of the coating film are improved, and the silicon-modified polyester color-coated plate has good external durability and non-chalking properties.
